hiii!
a little backstory: i'm a huge beliver in the idea that everything and everyone are interconnected. the "wood wide web" is a term for the underground network of mycorrhizal fungi, that connects the roots of trees and other plants in a forest ecosystem. it's something i find deeply fascinating, and i've been researching it for over a year now. in short, i want this website to be my own "underground network." i picture myself as the tree, with all the different aspects of who I am (this web) and the life I live rooting beneath me.

currently making some changes to my home page that i'm excited about. it's not going to look drastically different, i'm just decorating it/playing around with layered images. once i feel ok about the look of it i'll move on to zhuzhing up my other pages

listening to the "i need to start a garden" album by haley heynderickx while getting ready for work at the museum this morning. this album reminds me a lot of my freshman year of college, a lot of firsts and many mistakes. but it's sweet now to look back on, & i'm glad i have music that can transport me back there.

lately i've been interested in learning where every dog breed orginated from. my childhood dog was a shih tzu. her name was sweetie & apparently she had tibet roots.
i need to stop coding in my bed...the heat of my laptop is messing with my stomach. think i'm pregnant with a radioactive code baby. what should i name her? i think violet is cute. for twins... maybe violet & scarlet. olive is cute too. triplets?
